Gavin gave a new interview with ET Online about how the upcoming tour is going to be tough with King on the road with him and Zuma with Gwen. “The baby will probably have to stay with his mom. Needs the milk, you know?” He likes the challenge because both he and Gwen are doing what they love. He says that King is a “punk rocker in the making” but doesn’t know if he will use his talents in a band, lol. Aww, and King apparently knows what he and Gwen does, and when Gavin leaves the house, King is always asking if he (Gavin) is going to sing today. Our hearts are warming up right now.

Gavin Rossdale is back in the spotlight, and he talks about his upcoming gigs and balancing life on the road with wife Gwen Stefani, little Kingston and baby Zuma!

“[Kingston's] definitely a punk rocker in the making,” says Gavin of his son, who turns three in May. “I don’t know if he’s going to put that punk rocker to use in a band or whether he’s going to be like a Svengali manager.”

As for his upcoming North American tour, Gavin is busy rehearsing and says he’ll include Bush and Institute tunes in the playlist along with his solo material. Gwen is also on tour with No Doubt this summer.

“I love touring,” says Gavin, who acknowledges that balancing his schedule and family time can be tricky. “It’s going to be challenging, but I like the idea that we’re both working and both doing what we love, so that’s the way it goes. Anyone who has kids knows about the sacrifices of time you spend with your kids [with] working and different priorities. How do you make it work? Organize the chaos.”

So, what happens with the kids while mom and dad are on tour?

“Kingston, I’ll be taking him,” says Gavin. “The baby will probably have to stay with his mom. Needs the milk, you know?”

And oh yeah, we’re seeing Gavin in Seattle on April 14 — maybe we can find him and grill him ourselves! :)
