New Contest: BSO Wants Your Favorite Moments From The Tour
So, now that the tour is officially half over (it’s gone by so fast!), I have decided it’s about time to announce our new contest! We would like you guys to submit photos, links, stories, videos, or whatever of your favorite moments from the tour so far! It doesn’t have to be your own video, photo, etc., and you can submit however many you want! For each submission your name will be entered in the contest! Another batch of submissions will also be open after the tour ends. The voting will take place in rounds at the end of the tour and will be voted by the fans! So, leave a comment on the post to enter the contest, all rules and prizes are listed below — good luck!

My favorite moment from this tour has to be from that guy (in the pic above) with the lyrics to ‘Let’s Get Back’. The expression on his face makes me smile everytime I see it.

My favorite moment was definitely at the Boston show when Gwen called out “We haven’t played this song in 12 years!” and they played Tragic Kingdom. I get the chills just thinking about it.

My favourite moment was of George(ndbuddy) getting up on stage during the Toronto show. He showed it to me before the show, and it actually worked! That was amazing and so cute!

My favorite moment took place from my front row pit spot at the Camden, NJ show. The band was exiting the stage and Adrian threw his drumstick out to me. I caught it and before I even had time to be excited about that, I notice this blonde head of hair RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME in the area between the stage and pit. And then she was gone! I was so sad! I didn’t notice Gwen Stefani standing 1 foot in front of me. But then she came back and I grabbed her arm up by the armpit my hand slid all the way down her arm to her hand, which she squeezed and ran on! Haha. Awesomeness.

I took my 2 kids to the Cuyahoga Falls show and it was their first show ever & we met Christina in line w/ the Tour Club . She took our No Doubt T-shirt & had the band sign the shirt for us. It made the whole trip for my kids!!! I want to say a huuuuuuge Thank You to Christina for being so generous to us!!!! The part were they played SQUEAL was the BEST!!!!!

My favorite moment was during the Fresno concert, when Gwen pulled a fan she recognized up onstage. It was a really sweet moment, and shows just how personable and kind ND is! Here is the link at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m9EyYa674c. It happens at the very beginning of the video.

I had a sign that said “Marry Me Tony” that I showed them while I was backstage. Tony asked us where our tickets were for the show as we were leaving and I told him that I would be in the pit. He said that he would look for me. I held up my sign and he immediately acknowledged me. My favorite memory, from the 2009 tour was at my 4th show (this year) at Mohegan Sun – I was 2nd row – if that wasn’t great enough, I had a small sign. Gwen stopped read my sign and then announced to the band with a chuckle “this is no doubts biggest fan” as she pointed to me. At that point I was able to give her the flowers I brought her! It was amazing. 4 Shows, and I was finally able to make eye contact and communicate, even if it was only for a moment!

I don’t have any links, but my favorite part of the tour was at the Dallas show, where I was in the front row of the pit. During a break in the show, Gwen announced that it was “time for presents” and asked if anyone had a pen for autographs. She signed a couple of things and then pointed to a girl in the pit and said, “LAMB bag.” She got the purse up on stage, started to go through it, announced how boring it was, signed it and gave it back. The kicker is that I spent five hours in line before the show with the owner of the purse, and she told me that she never used it but only brought it to the show in case she could get it signed. Damn, it could have been my purse. But I thought it was still pretty cool.

Another random favorite moment that is worth mentioning, is when the grumpy old man working in the pit handed me the setlist at the end of the set. It helps to be polite to those who work so close to the stage!

My favorite part is actually seeing them live. when i saw the curtain drop and heard the beginning of spiderwebs i started crying. End it on this! the things they had on the screen, GWENS ABS! just everything! i want to do it again! No Doubt is the best and has the best fans!

Meeting NDBuddy (George) while waiting in line to the ND show in Montreal. I think he made this concert experience one of the best ones I’ve ever had. I even met Nina because of him. Because Nina wants that yellow shirt (pictured above worn by George) in different sizes for Mason, Ace, for her and Mika and Erin. She came over to him and I was standing right beside him in the front row and she even brought Mason and Ace with her. Love Ya George! You’re the best No Doubt buddy ever!

My favorite moment was the moment my daughter & I had at the Phoenix show in May. I had bought presale tickets in January & ended up gettin pit tickets (which like flabergasted me!). May finally came & my daughter & I made our way to the front of the pit & watched some killer sets from The Sounds & Paramore. Finally, ND came out, (btw I remember seeing people in BSO tshirts taking pics in front of the pit during first song), OMG! Most amazing eye/ear candy ever! I kept telling my daughter, its really Gwen! My daughter & I were screaming, dancing, singing, & open jawed in complete amazement because we were in front & heard the music we loved. I had goosebumps the whole time & savored every moment so I would not forget. Well, if that wasnt enough, Gwen strolls by us & stops. . “Look at this mother & daughter, they are soo cute. .” I fumbled to take a pic when she was pointing at us. Then, she asks, “Do you want a picture?” . .I couldn’t talk so I just shook my head yes, so she had security take MY camera (EEK!) and did a self pic with us in background from the stage. The night before this show, my friend Karin went to the SD show & said how Gwen mentioned how no one gives her gifts, so before the show we got her a little black & white stuffed animal in a bag, i threw it at her & missed but security gave it to her and she said she was going to give it to her baby. When I looked at the pic, I seen that the zoom was all the way close so it got her eye and us in the back, I told her & she said she would come back. Honestly, I didnt expect her to because I was happy with the fact that she touched my camera & talked to us. Right when they bowed to go in back for a break, I mouthed to her “What about my pic?” She smiled & mouthed to me “I’ll be back.” They came out & rocked it hard . .then she walks by & says, “Oh wait, I promised a pic over here.” I almost lost it! She came down to the pit and took my camera & took pic of us, as you can see our faces in the pics, we were in awe. I hugged & kissed her and just like could NOT believe it ( http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.editAlbumPhotos&albumID=2702371 ) . Later, when I was out of shock & realized what happened, I sobbed my little heart out of joy because my baby & I got to meet her. Shes the most sweetest, gorgeous person Ive ever seen. I took my brother to his first concert on July 11th in Chicago. He wore a tutu because he loves Adrian. The band noticed his sign and Adrian pulled him up on stage and let him play the drum. Adrian lifted him and gave him drum sticks. The best moment of his life and I was glad I could be there.

I love it when Gwen invites fans on stage! Especially I liked it when she accepts a backpack from a fan and she even puts it on. It’s so cute! Gwen blows a kiss back to the fan and talks a bit with her. You can really see that ND cares about their fans! <3

I live in Miami and flew up to Denver, CO to attend their show there because I wanted to experience their reunion with my best friend who moved over there. We’ve been No Doubters since we were in elementary! During “Ex-girlfriend” when she sings “Cos I’m the most gorgeously jealous kind of ex-girl” Gwen instead scram “Cos I’m jealous– jealous– jealous– I’m so fucking JAAAEAAAALOUUUUS!” lol and it was the cutest thing ever cos after being fans for so long and seeing her jealousy issues in her song writing, etc it was so so funny to see her up there exaggerating that lyric. We couldn’t stop laughing after that happened in the concert.

My favorite part was from theshow in Irvine on 8-4-09. While singing im just a girl, Gwen asked all the OC boys to sing with her. Before they sang she was like “You guys are going to embarrass the shit out of yourselves….PREMONITION!!!” They sang the part and then she said ” Well normally i would say that was shit, but it was actually pretty good!” haha then it was us girls turn and we blew boys away!!!! i went to the show in boston with my friend who also is a no doubt lover. i am only 18 and i have collected every album no doubt has done. i absolutely love them. my favorite moment of the tour when gwen took a present from a member in the crowd. she opened it on stage and it said, “boston’s love is rock steady!’. I also loved when she went out into the crowd and when she did pushups before ‘i’m just a girl’
