Gwen is featured in the online September 2010 edition of Fashion Wrap Up magazine. She is listed as the style icon this month and they also give us great tips on how to get Gwen’s looks. She is also mentioned as the cover model’s favorite artist and icon.

Fashion Wrap Up — Gwen was born on October 3, 1969 in Anaheim California, and her mother named her after a stewardess in the 1968 novel “Airport.” When we first heard about the blonde bombshell she was the lead singer of the band No Doubt. Their Album Tragic Kingdom would sell 16 million copies and produce hits such as “Just A Girl”, “Spiderwebs” and “Don’t Speak”. The Band’s fourth album “Return of Saturn” set the band on a steady decline in popularity, and in 2004 Stefani recorded her first solo album. “Hollaback Girl,” the third single released from the album, became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. In 2003 she debuted her clothing line L.A.M.B. and further expanded her fashion talents with the 2005 collection called Harajuku Lovers, drawing inspiration from Japanese Culture and fashion. She married British Rocker Gavin Rossdale in 2002, and since then the couple has had two sons Kingston and Zuma. The superstar was also named the 37th Hot 100 artist of the decade. Stefani, a natural brunette has changed her looks through the years opting for her platinum blonde hair for a majority of the time. In 2004 she played the original blonde bombshell Jean Harlow in the movie “The Aviator” with Leonardo DiCaprio. In the 90’s her look consisted of light face powder, bright red lipstick and arched eyebrows and rockabilly hair, and she also has dyed her hair blue and pink. In 2006, Stefani modified her image, inspired by that of Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in the 1983 film Scarface. The reinvented image included a symbol consisting of two back-to-back G’s, which appears on a diamond-encrusted key she wears on a necklace and which became a motif in the promotion of The Sweet Escape.

Thanks to Sara for the heads up, but Gwen is featured in the newest issue of H&M’s Style Guide with her “sport smart” style — she is one of the only ones who can rock track pants and heels… together!

Congratulations to Gwen! In a recent article on Business Insider, they are claiming that older (we mean that in the nicest way!) celebrities seem to be selling more magazine covers these days, and Gwen was mentioned as having one of the top sellers of InStyle magazine this year!

Business Insider — The good news for fashion magazines is that ad pages for their ever-important September issues have started to rebound. The bad news is that overall consumer magazine circulation and newsstand sales are both down (2.3% and 5.6%, respectively, in the first six months of 2010).

Interestingly, as Doree Shafrir notes in The Hollywood Reporter, the three most prestigious fashion titles — Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle — are putting over-40 actresses on their September covers, rather than the 20-something “Twilight” starlets one might expect.

On InStyle’s covers, 40-year-old Gwen Stefani outsold 25-year-olds Scarlett Johansson and Leona Lewis (648,000, 579,000 and 610,000, respectively) — and all three were outsold by Jennifer Lopez, who was 40 when she was on the cover in September and sold a whopping 853,000 copies (though September, as mentioned, usually is the biggest month).

Gavin recently sat down with Billboard magazine and discussed the upcoming Bush reunion, and how rumors concerning him and Gwen really can “strike home.”

Billboard — Rossdale adds that making “Everything Always Now” also provided a bit of an antidote for the latest rumors about he and his wife, No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani — primarily reports that she’s pregnant with their third child. “There’s rumors about anything and everyone the whole time,” he says. “You just roll with the stuff. Some things are more daft than others, and some things can strike home. You’ve just got to go about your business, that’s all.”

Yowza! Gwen made Men’s Health list of the Best Summer Bodies for 2010! She came in at #11 on the list and deserves it!

Gavin also makes an appearance on the countdown at #24.

Men’s Health — The No Doubt singer, star fashion designer, and 41-year-old mother of two boasts the best abs in the business—not to mention a size-four figure.
